You can also trade draft picks. They must also be an even swap.
I will break down an example of why you would want to do this.
Example:
RT - Han Shot First, is in 1st place in week 10 and he already has 1st place locked up. He will get the #12 pick in next season's draft. Going into the playoffs, say RT thinks he has a good shot at winning the championship, so to secure it, he wants to bolster his song lineup. He wants to get ride of "This List" because it hasn't been doing that well for him.
Andrew - The Misguided Monsters, is in 12th place and no chance of making the playoffs. He wants to worry about next season and building a good team since he has no shot this season.
RT wants to trade for Everybody's Better, one of Andrew's better songs. But to make this trade suitable for Andrew, Andrew wants RT's 1st round #12 pick.
Here is the trade: RT Trades - This List, 1st round # 12 pick. Andrew Trades - Everybody's Better, 10th round #1 pick.
So Andrew would have 2 picks in the 1st round next season. #1 and #12. RT would have no 1st round pick. RT would have 2 10th round picks though. #1 and #12.
---
Again, if this seems confusing, it's quite simple. To simplify, it's a song for a song, and a pick for a pick. Everything must be even. You as a GM must decide what is an even and fair trade and what you want to do with your team.
If you have any questions, I will answer them.
